This page is dedicated to the research and study of the theoretical psychokinetic ability called Ability X.
What is Ability X?[]
A theoretical psychokinetic ability that with each use has no guarantee of creating an effect, and even when an effect is created there is no way of knowing when the effect will happen, the size of the effect, or how long the effect will last.
Ability X when it does create an effect can create a moderate overall strangeness or high overall strangeness in statistically random data however these anomalies due to the random nature of Ability X can occur at anytime, for any period of time, with any effect size.
How do You Conduct Ability X Experiments?[]
Ability X can be activated any number of ways so by experimenting with different methods you can find a number of ways to activate Ability X, however even though it activates that doesn't mean that an effect will be created.
You can conduct many experiments with a PRNG (Pseudo-Random Number Generator), however due to the random nature of Ability X it may successfully cause an effect but not for a significant amount of time, meaning that it may only create an effect for a few seconds and the effect not be apparent after a minute trial has been conducted.
The only way you can catch Ability X creating an effect in the data is to watch closely for when the overall strangeness occurs and to manually stop the PRNG, if not the effect may be lost in the continual data stream.
Ability X is inconsistent and therefore cannot be consistently measured by running trials of the same length in time.
Applications of Ability X[]
Creating moderate or high overall strangeness in random data.
Why Study Ability X?[]
The ability is worth studying as its unpredictable nature forces its experimental structure to be different from other parapsychology experiments and could change the way parapsychology experiments are conducted in the future.
It is an ability that has no guarantee of creating an effect which explains experiments in which moderate or high overall strangeness occurs for a short period of time, or in which successful experiments cannot be replicated, because the ability itself manifests in unpredictable ways and cannot be examined in normal research parameters.
