Anchors are used in order to quickly enter a specific state of mind.
How Do You Make an Anchor?[]
Enter a relaxed state
Repeat a word that describes the desired state of mind you wish to enter, or hold a mental image of your desired state of mind. This will allow you to enter the desired state of mind.
While you repeat the word or hold the mental image: create and hold a gesture, or create and repeat a phrase. This will associate the state of mind you are currently in with the gesture or phrase.
Whenever you need to enter the desired state, simply use the gesture or say the phrase.
The more times you use the "anchor", the stronger it becomes.
