Some humans are born with some of the 12 DNA codes already unlocked, granting them abilities. These humans are known as hybrids, some hybrids are only a mix of human and one other species while some are mixed with as many as all 12 species from birth. Hybrids and Almagams are similar but Hybrids have unlocked DNA codes from birth and Almagams have their's unlocked later by some other means.
